FOOD AID TO LAKOWE AND ALAUSA CENTRAL

Following the Foundation's previous food aid programme at the Lakowe community, it was observed that the community indeed accommodated a lot more families that were economically disadvantaged as a result of the COVID-19 restrictions on trade and movement. This therefore informed a return visit to the Lakowe Community where more food aid and nose masks were availed to families in the local community. As part of our interests in education, creative artbooks and crayons were availed to 200 children so as to engage them mentally during the lockdown regime. Also, the team proceeded to the Lagos State Secretariat Central Mosque, Alausa-Ikeja, to avail food aid to hundreds of Muslim families in order to brighten their spirits ahead of the Ramadan (Eid Mubarak) celebration. In collaboration with the religious institution, needy Muslim families were identified in the Alausa and Agindingbi communities of Lagos State.
